The present Company was sneaked into the backdoor,by Varela, and was not subjected to Lake Worth Law:
No public works job over $15,000,- can be assigned without public bidding, with at least 3 estimates submitted, to prevent kickbacks .
$8,300,000 leaves a lot of room for that!
It is obvious that, that Company wants to see how far they can rip off Lake Worth through its' irresponsible Commission, who does not study any Ordinace or Law, nor do they do background checks.
(Result Greater Bay law suit, inspite of their violations of the unread Contract.See Lake Worth Media .com which discovered their 92 judgements for their jobs!!!! Commission did not know, nor City manager.
Now suing for 40 million dollars!Bravo Grater bay, did you deal with stupid irresponsible lazy,careless suckers?You saw that, the moment you walked into its' City Hall!!!!
Romano, former L.W.Mayor rehabbed the entire Lake Worth Beach site including Parks and Parking spaces, for $220,000,- .Not one Commission member bothers to check the bills for that job ,done after Laurence McNamara's 2 years lobbying, to prevent accidents in the enormous beach road potholes .
Singer and Kimley Horn wants $8.300,000.- for the same site rehab!
Only criminals would approve that.
Morganti which will work within the County grant (5,000,000,-,Morganti was not
allowed to bid for this job).
The solution is obvious, Morganti should be awarded that site job'
as they are already working on our Beach front rehabilitation,
started immeditaely after permitting.
This can simply be done in the same blitz tempo with which they do their jobs.
Is Singer and Kimley Horn busy padding their estimates, from Romano's $200,000,- to their $8,300,000,-??? An idiot would see that.

if the Lake Worth Commission is too, it will vote against Singer and kimley Horn outrageous price,and do the right thing,protect the Citizens' interests, and let Morganti do the job, part of their Casino one.
